• An advocate for policy and legislation that supports your business, both in the state and nationally, as we monitor trends and legislative changes that affect the hunting industry.
• Our lobbyist in Pierre monitors legislative issues and works for us to pass legislation supportive to the industry.
• Legislative updates during the legislative session.
• Legislative luncheon with state legislators and elected officials on January 18, 2011.
• Attend Game Fish and Parks commission meetings.

Publications

• Three electronic issues of “Game Bird” newsletter (March, August, and December).
• Each member receives a free listing in the SDSHA membership directory.

Member Benefits

• Stan's, Inc. is the official feed of the SDSHA.
• Members have an opportunity to serve on the education, membership, government affairs, tourism, or web site committees.
• General board meetings are open to ALL members. Meetings are normally held twice a year.
